About

I am SignT, an avid SpyParty player. For those not in the know, SpyParty is Chris Hecker’s upcoming game, currently in Open Beta at www.spyparty.com .

I am, as of now, one of the few players in the game who specializes in the perfection of Sniper Play. The perfection of the Art of Sniper. Through this blog, I hope to be able to teach more people how to improve their Sniper Play. Also, this will serve to provide a home for the manual which I have been working on, The Art of Sniper, which is an encyclopedic work covering all aspects of Sniper play.

Hopefully, I will be able to post at least once per week, if all goes well. My plan for this blog is as follows.

Every Wednesday, I will post a tutorial article meant to pinpoint specific elements of SpyParty’s Sniper play. This tutorial is intended to Intermediate to Advance players, which have already gotten a good handle on the game’s mechanics. Beginner articles might be included, but this might be in the minority. (I did start working on a beginner Sniper tutorial series, entitled “Little Red Book“.) A word of caution, as SpyParty is an ever-evolving game, this will be relevant to the game at that time. My blog post could very well be what changes the meta.

Moreover, whenever I feel like it, I will also comment on various ongoing trends and present my opinions. Commentaries of games is another avenue which is on a more sporadic timetable. I will try to attain games and present my opinions on them. This being said, do not expect much from me till Replays and Spectation is finally added into the game. I prefer to have the ability for the reader to actually get a feel of the game and be able to take something out of the game. Simply watching a video of a played match is insufficient in my opinion.

Finally, as aforementioned, this blog will provide a home for the manual, The Art of Sniper. This manual serves to be both concise and complete in covering all aspects of Sniper Play. It will be less frequently updated, but hopefully the contents of the manual will last for some time. This is targeted at the more advanced players, serving more as a reference than a tutorial.
